PokeVenture Character: Sankuru

This took longer than expected to draw. >> Haven't tried Pokemon style in months.
Entering my character's main Pokemon, Sankuru the Slowking, into PokeVenture so I have an excuse to draw art of him. xD Check out PokeVenture at #Poke-fanclub if you haven't already.

Information:
Sankuru is a very serious Pokemon, always concentrating fully on whatever task he has currently in hand whether it be winning a Pokemon battle for his now grown-up trainer or reading through his beloved dictionary. He loves learning and his favourite activity is practicing human language and grammar.

It's very rare to see any kind of emotion from him in everyday situations appart from annoyance and jealously, expecially if a guy comes within five feet of his trainer. Before leaving for the wild to start up his own family he had attachment issues, believing his trainer would leave him if she set sights on another male human or Pokemon. Hailing from Azalea Town she recieved Sankuru as a Slowpoke, treasuring him above all other Pokemon due to the folklore surrounding their species.

Sankuru is not very trusting of guys and does not hold back on insults when around them, thinking of himself as better than everybody else. It's probably because of this he does not keep friends easily.

When with his trainer he was always too off in his own world to care about anyone other than himself and her, and now living with a colony of Slowpoke and Slowbro he hasn't changed one bit. His slightly arrogant and egotistical personality conflicts with his status of king, and it is at the start of his story we find out he's now starting to doubt ever leaving the world of battling and human companionship behind.
